Interesting find! The building you see below is located in the East Malaysian state of Sarawak. It is the Sarawak parliament building which was built by Kamal Fozdar, a Baha’i and features nine sides. Interestingly, Kamal also had a hand in contributing to the architectural feat that is the Baha’i Lotus Temple in New Delhi, India.

Yet another fantastic piece of Baha’i inspired architecture!

Sarawak was recently visited by Dr. Wendi Momen, a Californian born, well travelled and well-respected Baha’i who currently resides in the U.K. She has also authored several Baha’i themed books and currently serves as the Secretary General for the EBBF, amongst other roles.

BBC News: US and Russia announce deal to cut nuclear weapons

US President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev have agreed a new nuclear arms reduction treaty after months of negotiations.

It may not be the end of all nuclear weapons, but it certainly is a step in the right direction. With this spending cutback, perhaps the Obama administration might be looking to curb its deficit, or focus on other priority areas. The citizens of the USA, Russia and the world can only benefit from such a move.
